Catherine’s designs are full of colour, pattern, and personality, For her, stitching is more than craft, it's calm, focus, and a form of mindfulness She’s stitching for the love of it and inviting others to do the same.
Catherine fell in love with needlepoint back in her school days, after creating and stitching her first design for an A-level project. Though life took her in other creative directions, including running a successful children’s décor business and raising three kids, her heart always belonged to canvas and wool. In 2025, she finally followed her heart and decided to dive back in and launch Calla Rae Studio.
Catherine lives and works in Northern Ireland.
